We've noticed that some of Moonit's users have been writing in with questions about Moon Coins. So what are they and how the heck can you get your hands on more of them? All the features on Moonit.com are available for Moon Coins, Moonit's virtual currency. The good news is that all new users get a whopping fifty (50) Moon Coins. Each time you run a relationship compatibility, you're depleting your coin bank by five (5) Moon Coins, while horoscopes are worth one (1) Moon Coin. When you're out of Moon Coins, you can earn more really easily. One way to earn Moon Coins is by playing Matchmaker, running any two of your friends' compatibility and introducing them to each other through a Moonit email. Other ways users can earn coins is by sharing relationship assessments via FB, Twitter and email, and by inviting friends. If you don't have time for all that, you can purchase coins via PayPal, credit card or your cell phone.

Our developers have been working behind the scenes to make Moonit faster and more fun for a little while now. This past week, they unveiled the better, quicker version of Moonit. Now Moonit's first time users and power users can both enjoy a lightning fast experience when signing into the site and navigating from one feature to another. Another important change we made is to reveal the full relationship horoscope reading in users' emails. That means, if you sign up for relationship horoscope alerts, you'll always have your daily horoscopes handy without having to unlock coins or click through to the site to view them!

As many of you know, we're all about making Moonit smarter for all of our users. What you may not know is that over 70% of Moonit's user base has told us their results are "Spot On" or "Sorta Right" so far! That's exciting and all, but we'd love to get as much feedback as possible so we can improve our compatibility algorithm. And you can help! It just takes a second to let us know if we're on target. We recognize that Moonit's throwing a lot of new stuff at users, and it's tough to know what everything on Moonit.com does. So we created tool tips for all of the features on the site. Now all you have to do is hover over the "?" question marks present throughout the site, and you'll temporarily see a blue box that explains what each and every major feature means. We have created tooltips for relationship results, relationship status updates, the matchmaker / introduce them functionality, the stars, the couch, the forecast and more. Time to get schooled!

Facebook Connect Getting a Revamp!

On June 30th, Facebook began rolling out a new data model to all apps and websites that use the Facebook Platform… and Moonit's one of them! Facebook provided developers with a transition period, but we're still working out the compatibility with its new API. They've given developers until July 14th to revert apps to the old data model for debugging purposes. Even though the transition is a pain in the butt, the new permissions model will be a major positive for users and publishers. So please bear with us as we make our updates! That means you may be having issues right now, like not seeing the blue FacebookConnect button and not being able to pull your friend's Facebook pictures or their birth dates. We promise, this will all be over soon & work 10x better, too!
