Thanks to this exclusive feature of our site, we have seen an overwhelming number of new users sign up to run and match up their friends, as well as sit on the couch and view celeb couple commentary. As one of our featured Philly-area users commented "I actually just typed in one of my old coworker's names and now I realize why we didn't get along; it makes perfect sense," Philadelphia resident Amanda Comunale said. Indian tech blog Tech2.0 just featured Moonit (alongside Zynga and AOL!) with the post: "Moonit.com Introduces the Matchmaker, Integrated With Facebook." The piece goes on to say that, "…The Matchmaker is basically a way to meet new people and has the added benefit of a common contact initiating the new connection. In addition to leveraging the power of Facebook, users can also “moon” two contacts and receive a compatibility assessment by manually entering in the birthdates of both individuals."

Stay Tuned For Your Relationship Alerts

For all of Moonit's users out there who have signed up for relationship alert emails, you'll be seeing them in your inboxes this coming week! We're still working to make sure the emails are perfect before releasing them into the wild. For those of you who haven't signed up to relationship alerts, you can now do so when you view your relationship results –the light box we've included in this post will pop up, and all you have to do is click "Get Alerts." Otherwise, you can always click on the blue "Get Alerts" button towards the top of the relationship results page at any time. Your current relationship status is always updated on your Dashboard, but the relationship alert emails tell you when your status has changed so you know when to log back into your Dashboard to read your current status.
