Moonit's Progress Report

Posted by dana at 5:44 pm on Sunday, January 31st, 2010.

Thanks to our partnerships underway, Moonit has made really great progress so far this year. In the month of January, we had 160,000 unique visitors to our site and our widgets, for 460,000 page views served. We're looking to kick off our PR and marketing efforts in tandem with the re-launch of our site and release of new features, just in time for Valentine's Day. Moonit.com will be easier to use and more addictive than ever! Stay tuned for more updates to come.

Helping Haiti

Posted by qa at 8:44 am on Sunday, January 24th, 2010.

There are many ways to help support the people of Haiti, but we'd like to point out a couple more. If you happen to be part of the Tech / Entrepreneurial / Interactive community in NYC, RSVP for February's Tech Meetup, which is donating the $20 admission fees directly to Partners in Health.  Also Crisis Camp is a gathering of technologists who come together to build platforms to assist with the relief efforts in Haiti. They need volunteers with and without programming skills: everyone is welcome to participate. Please RSVP and help to spread the word!

So You're Saying There's a Chance

Posted by dana at 5:26 am on Monday, January 18th, 2010.

Moonit is a working hard to launch one of our new features, The Matchmaker, which is set to be released by Valentine's Day (for all of you guys out there reading this, that would be February 14th). The Matchmaker will allow users to select two of their Facebook contacts (or manually enter in the information) to get their Moonit assessment. Once they receive the assessment, users can select from a drop-down of introductory messages before hitting go on an email to either one or both of the people they ran. By sharing the relationship assessment, The Matchmaker earns reward points. And the two people being matched are urged to read their full results on Moonit before letting us know whether or not they think it's a good match. So everyone stands a chance this Valentine's Day.

Camera, Lights, Moonit

Just wanted to share Moonit's video and six shooter Q&A interview that reporter Christina Scotti conducted on behalf of Fox Business, entitled "Startup Picks Online Friends For You." We feel really honored to have been featured as part of Scotti's Young Guns series, which profiles entrepreneurs 35 and younger. It was an amazing opportunity to tell our story and explain the offering in greater detail. We look forward to sharing this with our investors, partners and early adopters! Thanks to everyone involved for making this possible. As a start-up, this type of exposure is critical to our success!
