SurveyMonkey Says…

Posted by dana at 10:57 am on Saturday, December 26th, 2009.

Screen shot 2009-12-26 at 1.56.45 PMThe results are in! Moonit is psyched about the completions of our year-end survey, especially since many of you are traveling and spending time with your families right now. Your survey responses are really helpful as we look to shape the features on our site during 2010. Here are some of the highlights of the survey results:

  • Most of you go to the site to view your relationship assessments (shocker, we know), but about 20% of you also go there to visit The Stars and 15% of you also view your Forecasts available on your Dashboard
  • Only 12% of you are using The Couch and sharing your assessments with others, so we're looking to improve both of those features in the coming weeks
  • About 50% of you only go to the site every once in a while when you've got a relationship you're curious about–we're looking to change this by rolling out our new features
  • 70% of users feel their relationship assessments are sorta right or spot on, while only 5% feel they're off base (the rest haven't run enough relationships to know how they feel yet); we'll keep up the good work on that front!
  • The vast majority of you would like us to introduce our new features, with the matchmaker tool being the most in demand, ahead of the relevancy index, relationship forecasts and then the recommendations in and out of your networks.

Moonit Gets Collegiate

Posted by dana at 10:01 am on Sunday, December 20th, 2009.

Sadly, the folks at Moonit are still living vicariously through those in college. And one of the easiest ways for us to get our fix is by readingĀ College Candy and Coed Magazine. They're great procrastination tools that school you on some of your deepest darkest questions about sex, relationships, fashion, sports and celebs. Since we can't go back to the jello shots, keg stands and hazings (well, who are we kidding? those are alive and well here, unfortunately) of yester-year, Moonit's found the next best thing: we're psyched to be offering some of our content to their users. Good stuff.

Moonit's Interview

Posted by dana at 9:49 am on Sunday, December 13th, 2009.

Young GunsMoonit is really excited about our interview with FoxBusiness.com as part of reporter Christina Scotti's Young Guns series profiling entrepreneurs under 35. Christina, her cameraman, lighting and sound crew were consummate professionals and got a boatload of Moonit footage at our home office and the conference room at eROI's NYC offices around the corner. Moonit's mascot-dog Tsuki was, of course, on hand to address any high level questions about inspiration and such. It was a great chance to get the team front and center, so a big shout-out to Rachel, Carly and James for your on-screen appearances. Should be interesting to see what makes its way into the 3-minute video, which comes out on Wednesday on foxbusiness.com.

How This Works

Posted by dana at 1:09 pm on Sunday, December 6th, 2009.

HowThisWorksMany people ask us "how the heck does this thing work, anyway?" Well, pretty soon, we'll be able to refer them to our How This Works section. In response to those burning questions, Moonit is working with eROI to put together a section of our site devoted to explaining the ins-and-outs of our main site features. We'll be walking users through the process of associating their accounts, running contacts for themselves, matching contacts up with each other, getting relationship updates and delving into celebrity relationships.
