moonit on vh1's rock of love (bus, that is)

Are we becoming jaded?  Because we're beginning to think that Bret Michaels' first priority in life may not be finding his soul mate and settling down with her for the long haul… His latest (and third?) attempt VH1's Rock of Love Bus–or as we like to refer to it "Skanks on Wheels"–seems to be one part MTV's "Next," one part VH1's "Celebrity Rehab," a smattering of MTV's "A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila" and just a pinch of airborn disease.

Nevertheless, the show makes for top notch reality TV entertainment. Despite all of Brett's indecisiveness, his neediness and his penchant for women of the pole, one of our moonit management team members has always had a soft spot in her heart for this bleached-blonde cross-dresser, ever since "Open Up And Say Ahh" came out (and yes, we're that old). Maybe it's cause she's from Jersey or maybe it's his masterful makeup artistry or even more likely it's cause their birthdays are so strikingly close:  hers March 14 and his March 15. Although Bret is a Pisces, Venus is actually in Aries for him.

This explains why he is active and forthright, and certainly no stranger to competition. Those with this placement have the impatience and daring of a truly alive, free-thinking, variety-seeking adolescent (that's a long euphemism for immature, 45-year-old philanderer)… Their emotions are changeable, fiery and perhaps a bit on the explosive side. One of their downsides is self-centeredness (which can border on total self absorption). Those with natal Venus in Aries are happiest in a relationship that allows them to be true to themselves.  Which, we suppose, is why he goes on and on about how he needs a woman who understands how he's got to be on the road 360 out of 365 days of the year (um, really?) and be cool with him hanging out with throngs of bisexual groupies…  Well good luck with all that Bret, we're rooting for you!
